Check the cause of poor cooling
Poor cooling does not always mean the aircon needs more refrigerant. A refrigerant top-up should be considered after the unit and refrigerant condition have been checked. If there is a leak, adding refrigerant without addressing the cause may only be a temporary measure.
What to share
Describe how the cooling has changed, when you first noticed it, and whether the unit has any other symptoms such as weak airflow or visible leaks. Include the unit brand and model if available, and send a photo of the model label to help explain the equipment.
